Rob learned the importance of a strong work ethic and integrity at the age of sixteen while working at a full-service gas station - a business of a bygone era. Servicing customers quickly with a smile, while washing windows, checking oil and tire pressure were the norm. The goal was to make certain that all their needs were met before they left. His boss impressed upon him that customers had many choices, and it was important to work hard to ensure that they chose to return again and again. Making customers feel welcome, building warm rapport and thanking them for the opportunity to serve them... and meaning it ... were all in a day's work. Rob grew to love and has lived this full-service business philosophy ever since.
Rob has been in direct sales and marketing his entire adult life. In 2004, he started Glessner Promo, a promotional products dealership. Today, Glessner Promo is a highly successful, award-winning dealership serving many satisfied business clients. Rob still currently owns and operates Glessner Promo.
Rob takes a no-nonsense approach to business. He focuses on doing the basics well. He has a knack for cutting through the seemingly complex to the simple heart of a matter quickly. He is systematic, efficient, and works with a sense of competitive urgency. Rob is highly task-oriented.
